The *NEW* 2007 Kitewing RAGE 55 offers that little extra for heavy weight riders and for the ones who live in areas with less wind. RAGE 55 is designed to work well in the lower wind registers and to boost airtime to the maximum.
It uses the same frame as the IV8, which makes it possible to easily upgrade your IV8 to a RAGE 55.
Kitewing riding is easy. There are only three steps needed to explain what it is. The Start, the basic turn and the tailwind turn.
Kitewing sails are ultralight sails designed for sailing on ice, sand, turf and snow with normal downhill skis, a snowboard, an all terrain board or skates. The symmetrical wing acts as a flying rig and is held freely by the Kite Surfer in both hands.
Special attention has been paid in the development to making the rig light, strong and durable. The sail cloth is made of light polyester (dacron) or a combination of monofilm and reinforced K-ply film, which lets you wingsail at temperatures below -30 C.
Designed for easy transportaion all KiteWings are collapsable to a length of 195cm. To make it even easier easier all customers receive a FREE Kitewing Carry Bag with every Kitewing purchased.
In the interests of safety we recommend using a Kitewing Coil Leash with your Kitewing to prevent the wing from blowing away from the user.
